Congratulations to our Adult Skaters!!

Everett Figure Skating Club would like to extend our heartfelt pride and congratulations to two of our adult skaters with special accomplishments this past month.

  • Melani Young passed her Adult Gold Moves in the Field test on March 8th. What a wonderful lifetime achievement! Melani’s hard work on the ice, continuing to improve her own skills while coaching and improving her students’ skills, is a testament to her dedication to this sport. Congratulations, Melani!
  • Patti Youngbluth recently competed at the 2012 Adult Eastern Sectionals at Cabin John Ice Arena in Rockville, MD, March 9 – 11. Patti earned 1st place for her program “Coin-Operated Boy”, choreographed by Lori Elliott. She also received 4th place in Bronze Ladies Technical Freeskate I/II for her program to Bond Quintet, also choreographed by Lori Elliott. Patti had many of her family cheering her on, most of whom had never seen her skate until this event. Bringing home a gold made that extra special! Congratulations, Patti! Your hard work and dedication paid off!
